A female Golden Retriever was found at Ridgeway Grundy Park at approximately 8.30am on the morning of Wednesday 24th August.
Lymm vets have confirmed she is chipped but registered in Spain. She is wearing a pink collar with hearts on, but unfortunately without a tag. Sarah who found the dog says "hopefully someone will recognise her, she's a lovely friendly dog and I'm sure someone must be missing her. It would be greatly appreciated if you could spread the word and see if anyone is missing the dog". Sarah can be contacted on 07985599533. The golden retriever is currently at the Cheshire Dogs home.

An appeal for information
On Wednesday 22nd of July 2009 a Yorkshire terrier was stolen from a Red Suzuki Vitara. The owner parked in Davies Way in Lymm and headed into Gavin Laidlaw's dental practice at 2.00pm. At 2.20pm Von Threlfall returned to find her car had been broken into and her Yorkshire Terrier, who is 10lbs and answers to the name Daz or Dazzie, gone.
Planned robbery?
The thieves took the lock off the passenger door. They left behind her other dog a Staffordshire bull terrier and all other valuables such as the satellite navigation system. On the front of the windscreen a calling card was left. The illustration was the front page of the Beano with Dennis the Menace on it behind bars with two dogs on the front. This suggests that the incident may have been planned.

Von says: “I remember on the day of the incident three guys laughing and joking on one of the canal boats. They looked over and smiled, that could be one route to his disappearance”.
On the day of the disappearance another passerby reported seeing a dark black or dark blue Vauxhall Zafira. The owner was agitated and unable to get out because of Von’s Jeep. This vehicle may be connected to the incident.
A small white van possible a renault kango with two middle aged blokes in high visibility jackets may also have possible links to the crime
Von is determined to find her dog and has circulated leaflets in the area, been to the Cheshire Dogs home, Manchester Dogs home, and also posted appeals on the internet. She will be circulating leaflets in the area again very shortly.
Reward
The owner would like to hear from anyone who may have seen anything on the day of the incident or who may have had animals stolen. There is a £200 reward for any information leading to his safe return or his whereabouts. Von says she won’t give up.
